GUIDELINES
The Springs Soccer Club 2026–2027 Handbook outlines the club's policies, procedures, and expectations for players, parents, coaches, and spectators, including safety, conduct, fees, and emergency protocols. All members are expected to read, understand, and abide by the policies contained within it as a condition of participation.

SAFETY
CONCUSSION & INJURY
The Springs Soccer Club Concussion Protocol follows the U.S. Soccer (Recognize to Recover), CDC (HEADS UP), and Florida law standards, outlining how to recognize a concussion, the signs and symptoms to watch for, and the mandatory removal-from-play and written physician-clearance requirements before a player may return.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY PLAN
The Springs Soccer Club Medical Emergency Action Plan, developed in partnership with Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital [U18] Sports Medicine, outlines the procedures for responding to medical emergencies at Cypress Park, including EMS activation, on-site athletic trainer roles, concussion and lightning protocols, and the nearest urgent care and ER facilities. All coaches, staff, and site directors are expected to review and follow this plan, which must be discussed with the site director before the first game.

LIGHTNING & WEATHER
The Springs Soccer Club Lightning & Severe Weather Policy follows the City of Coral Springs Parks & Recreation policy and its Perry Weather warning system at Cypress Park, which alerts everyone on site with a horn and strobe when lightning is detected within 10 miles and keeps play suspended for 30 minutes after each strike until the all-clear sounds. All players, families, coaches, and officials are expected to stop activity immediately, seek shelter in an enclosed vehicle, and wait for the all-clear before returning to the field.
