National ACADEMY
League
A national platform organised by the country’s top
academy clubs — top-tier competition, player
identification and a national playoff structure that raises
NCAA visibility.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
NATIONAL ACADEMY LEAGUE | U13-U19 BOYS PHANTOM
The National Academy League is a boys’ platform organised by
the nation’s top academy clubs with the goal of enhancing each
club’s developmental pathway. Springs SC boys’ Phantom teams
compete in the platform, with the club’s first teams continuing in
MLS NEXT Academy.
The NAL was established to enhance the daily environment for
male student-athletes through a club-based development
platform. By emphasising top-tier competition, robust player
identification and a national playoff structure, the NAL allows
student-athletes to increase visibility at the NCAA level while
competing at the highest level domestically.
