The City of Coral Springs is aware of concerns regarding the newly applied revenue share fee associated with the recently awarded RFP to RLC Management Sports Programs Inc (Springs Soccer Club).
City staff have been actively working with us to address community concerns and reduce overall costs for families. Through those discussions, we successfully reduced the financial impact on participants while continuing to support the long-term maintenance and sustainability of our soccer facilities.
The city remains committed to providing high-quality soccer opportunities for residents while balancing affordability, field conditions, and responsible stewardship of public facilities.

Springs SC Club x NextPlay
We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership between NextPlay and Springs Soccer Club, creating new international opportunities for players in Fort Lauderdale. By combining Springs SC’s proven development model with NextPlay’s global network, this collaboration provides a clear pathway for local talent to gain exposure and access opportunities in European football.
The first Fort Lauderdale Summer Draft is scheduled for July 2026, offering players a high-performance environment to be evaluated, with limited spots available. Applications will open soon through the NextPlay platform—your journey from grassroots to global starts here.

A New Era for Springs Soccer Club: We’ve Joined MLS NEXT ACADEMY DIVISION! We are thrilled to announce a historic milestone for our community: Springs Soccer Club is officially joining MLS NEXT Academy Division for the 2026-2027 season! This acceptance into the premier youth developmental platform in North America marks a transformative era for our club. By joining this elite network, SSC aligns its training curriculum with global standards, ensuring our Boys’ Academy players have unparalleled access to the highest levels of competition, scouting, and professional pathways. Why MLS NEXT? MLS NEXT represents the gold standard of youth soccer in the United States and Canada. It is a collaborative environment focused on innovation and elite player development. The National Stage: MLS NEXT features over 90% of current youth national team player pools. Professional Pathways: Players receive direct exposure to MLS Pro Academy scouts, US Youth National Team coaches, and top-tier collegiate programs. Holistic Growth: The program focuses on more than just "wins"—it prioritizes coaching, individual growth, and preparing athletes for their futures both in soccer and in life. What This Means for Our Players Our transition to MLS NEXT ensures that talent meets opportunity. Starting in the 2026-2027 season, SSC will field six teams at the U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, and U19 levels. The SSC MLS NEXT Experience includes: Elite Training: 4 high-intensity practices per week following a world-class curriculum. National Competition: A 10-month season featuring approximately 30 league games and national showcases. Advanced Analytics: Use of VEO game recordings and Individual Player Development Plans (IDP) to track progress. Pro-Level Environment: Players will follow a strict physical periodization model to maximize performance and recovery.

Recreational players can fast-track their development between seasons in our Developmental Academy. High school players can maximize their summer with our Technical Series Clinics. Graduates can continue to compete and develop at the next level on our UPSL squad.
