Springs Soccer Club’s Zidaan Williams Selected for Antigua and Barbuda U-17 National Team

We are excited to announce Zidaan Williams, a standout player with our club, has been officially selected to join the Antigua and Barbuda U-17 National Team for the upcoming Concacaf U-17 Men's Qualifiers. The tournament, which will take place in Guatemala from February 7-16, 2025, is a key stepping stone to the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) formally requested Zidaan’s release for training throughout January 2025. During this period, Zidaan will formally train alongside his national teammates to develop cohesion, build relationships, and prepare for the challenges ahead in this prestigious tournament.

A Proud Moment for Springs Soccer Club

This selection serves as an acknowledgement of Zidaan’s exceptional skill, dedication, and professionalism—qualities that we are proud to have helped grow and encourage through his time at Springs Soccer Club. It’s a testament to the hard work of our coaches, staff, and the supportive soccer community that continues to foster young talent. And, it is an endorsement of Zidaan's notable commitment and drive to be great.

The Concacaf U-17 Men's Qualifiers are a significant opportunity for players to showcase their talents on an international stage, competing against the best in the region. For Zidaan, this is a moment to shine and contribute to his national team's aspirations while gaining invaluable experience just as much as it is a celebration of all he’s done thus far.

Building Bridges Through Football

As emphasized by ABFA, the collaboration between clubs like ours and national teams creates unparalleled growth opportunities for players. Springs Soccer Club is honored to support Zidaan in this journey and is confident that his experience with the national team will enhance his development as both a player and a person.

We wish you and the Antigua and Barbuda U-17 team the best as you prepare for the Concacaf U-17 Men's Qualifiers!

The entire Springs Soccer Club family is proud to see one of our own represent on such a prestigious stage. Let’s cheer him on as he takes this exciting step forward!
