The early February air in Florida is usually perfect for soccer, but for the Springs Soccer Club 2012G Elite squad, the heat came from their performance on the pitch. Competing in the prestigious Kraze Florida Krush Winter Classic, the team demonstrated why they are a force to be reckoned with this season.

As a Premier Event supported by the ECNL , the Winter Classic is known for drawing top-tier talent from across the region. For the 2012G Elite, it wasn't just about the results on the scoreboard; it was a showcase of technical development and tactical discipline.

The girls stepped onto the field with a clear mission: to test their off-season progress against high-level competition.

Throughout the three-day event, the team displayed remarkable synergy. Whether it was the defensive line’s composure under pressure or the clinical finishing in the final third, every player contributed to a weekend defined by "grit and growth." This tournament serves as a vital stepping stone for the girls as they transition into the heart of their competitive schedule.

She Built the Table: How Laurie Thomas Is Leading South Florida Youth Soccer on Her Own Terms

World Cup sidelines. National team camps. State titles. And every weekend, Cypress Park. The Springs Soccer Club director is doing something the youth soccer world in this region hasn't seen before.

Walk the sidelines at Cypress Park on a Saturday morning and you'll find Laurie Thomas exactly where she's been for over two decades: coaching. Watching. Correcting. Pushing. The setting is Coral Springs, the players are kids, and the work looks ordinary enough from the outside. But spend a few minutes with her record and the picture shifts fast.

Laurie is the Executive Director of Springs Soccer Club, the only officially recognized travel soccer program in the City of Coral Springs. She holds a USSF A License. She coached the Jamaica Women's National Team at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia, where the Reggae Girlz made history by defeating Brazil and reaching the Round of 16. And just recently, she was invited to coach at the U.S. Women's National Team U18/U19 training camp in Fayetteville, Georgia, joining a select group of coaches trusted to work with the country's top young female players.

That kind of resume doesn't show up often in South Florida youth soccer. It shows up even less when the name attached to it belongs to a woman.

Growing Up in a Man's Game

Youth soccer in South Florida has historically been shaped by male directors, male technical staff, and male head coaches. That's the reality of the landscape. Laurie has operated inside that landscape for 22 years without adjusting her ambitions to fit it. She and her husband, co-founder Roger Thomas, have both held their USSF A License for years. Roger recently completed his Academy Directors License as well. They built Springs Soccer Club together and run it together, but Laurie's role as Executive Director puts her at the front of one of the most competitive youth programs in the region.

The club's roster includes six female coaches. That's not a coincidence. Laurie has been deliberate about creating an environment where women coach with the same authority as anyone else on staff, because she's lived that standard herself. Parents who enroll their kids at Springs Soccer Club are placing them in a program where female leadership isn't a talking point; it's just how the club operates.

From Coral Springs to the World Cup

On the biggest stage: Laurie at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Melbourne, Australia, coaching the Jamaica Reggae Girlz.

The 2023 Women's World Cup was a defining moment for Jamaican soccer. The Reggae Girlz entered as a nation of fewer than three million people facing off against a Brazilian program that has produced some of the sport's greatest players. They won. For Laurie, who was on the bench as Assistant Head Coach throughout that tournament, it was the kind of result coaches spend careers working toward.

What's worth paying attention to is how she describes the preparation. The same principles she applies with professional players in Kingston or Sydney are the ones she brings back to practice in Coral Springs: player mentality, tactical awareness, technical development, physical conditioning, and social and emotional skills. Entry level to professional, the framework doesn't change. Only the context does.

"We want to introduce soccer in a way that opens up doors of possibility for all young kids, both on the field and off. The goal is for kids to not only learn the wonderful game of soccer, but to have fun, build social skills, improve self-confidence, and instill a brave, creative, go-for-it mentality that can help provide the right foundation for the rest of their lives."

She means it. Springs Soccer Club started with three competitive teams during the pandemic, when tryouts weren't possible and field time was limited. Within a single year, it grew to thirteen teams. Today the club runs a competitive travel division, an in-house development program, and First Touch, which serves kids in the U6 age group with age-appropriate drills and a weekly competition format. That kind of growth doesn't happen without a clear vision and the credibility to execute it.

Back to Back: Jamaica and the U.S. National Program

Coaching a nation to a World Cup breakthrough is one thing. Getting called back to work with your own country's national program is another. The invitation to the USWNT U18/U19 camp in Georgia placed Laurie among a select group of coaches trusted to shape the next generation of American women's soccer. It's an endorsement that carries real weight inside the coaching community, where these invitations go to people with a proven track record of developing players correctly.

Laurie has spoken openly about wanting every girl who comes through Springs Soccer Club to understand that her future in soccer goes beyond being a player. Coaching, refereeing, club management, national program staff: these are real paths. She is living proof of all of them. A young girl watching Laurie run a practice or pull up a chair on a national team bench gets a very different picture of what's possible than she would almost anywhere else in this market.

The Results at Home: State Titles, National Contenders, 50-Plus Trophies

The international spotlight is impressive. The results back home are what really tell the story of what Springs Soccer Club has become.

Over the last three years, SSC teams have won multiple Florida State Championships and sent programs competing for national titles. The 2011, 2012, and 2010 birth year groups have each made deep runs at the national level, putting Coral Springs on the map in a way that most youth clubs in this state never achieve. This season, the club is on track to send four more teams, the 2013, 2011, 2012, and 2010 groups, to compete for national championships. Four age groups. One club. One city.

Fifty-plus tournament championships across boys and girls programs in four years is a number that stands on its own. It reflects consistent preparation, strong coaching at every age level, and a competitive culture that runs through the entire club, not just the top teams.

Laurie is the first to point out that results like these aren't built by one person. The methodology that she and Roger established, a periodization plan that tracks benchmarks by age group throughout the year, creates accountability from U6 all the way through the competitive travel division. Every age group is working toward something, and every coach understands what that standard looks like.

The Springs Holiday Cup: Coral Springs on the International Stage

One of the club's most visible community contributions in recent years has been the Springs Holiday Cup, a tournament that has grown into a genuine regional event with reach well beyond South Florida. International teams have made the trip to Coral Springs to compete, turning a local holiday tournament into something the city itself can take pride in. For the families and players who participate, it's a chance to test themselves against competition from outside the country. For the city, it's an event that puts Coral Springs on the soccer map in a very direct way.

That kind of event doesn't happen without a club that has built real credibility and real relationships across the sport. The Holiday Cup is a reflection of where Springs Soccer Club stands today, an organization that other clubs and programs want to be part of.

A Trailblazer Who Changed the Culture

Talk to families who have been in Coral Springs soccer for more than a decade and they'll tell you the sport has a different feel now than it did before Springs Soccer Club was here. Youth soccer participation has grown in the city. The standard of play has risen. And the expectation of what a local club can accomplish, state titles, national runs, international competition at home, has been reset entirely.

Laurie sits at the center of that shift. She's a trailblazer not just because she's a woman leading at the highest levels of the sport, but because she took a program that started with three pandemic-era teams and turned it into one of the most decorated youth soccer clubs in Florida. She did it by refusing to separate what happens on the field from what happens in the development of the whole person, by coaching girls and boys with equal seriousness, and by building a staff that reflects the values she's talked about since day one.

More than twenty players who came through these programs are now professionals, competing in MLS and abroad, with several representing their national teams. Her sons, Kai (Center Back, FC Cincinnati) and Kobi (Inter Miami CF, MLS All-Star, Jamaica U20 Reggae Boys), are the most visible examples of what this environment produces. But they're two names on a very long list.

What It Means for This Community

Families in Coral Springs take soccer seriously. They invest weekends, early mornings, and real money into their kids' development. The question of who is leading that development matters more than people sometimes realize. Having Laurie as the director of the only recognized travel program in the city means parents aren't just signing their kids up for a local club. They're placing them with a coaching staff led by someone who prepared national team players for World Cup qualifiers, spent weeks in a U.S. national team camp, and has built the track record to back up every word.

There are plenty of people in youth soccer who talk about developing the whole player, building character, creating opportunity. Laurie has a track record that backs all of it up. World Cup. A city whose soccer culture is bigger and better because she chose to plant her roots here. We are proud to announce that our relief mission is officially complete.

The Impact of Your Generosity

Because of this community’s swift action and open hearts, we were able to provide tangible support to those who need it most. Together, we achieved:

Jonathan brings extensive experience from the grassroots level all the way up to the United States Soccer Federation Youth National Team Program and Senior Men's National Team.

He has a proven track record of success, which includes:

In a previous Technical Director role at the Dallas Texans Soccer Club, he oversaw the Boys Academy Program (originally DA, currently ECNL) During his tenure, the club achieved a #2 ECNL National Ranking in 2024 and 2021, a #3 ranking in 2023, and teams reached the ECNL National Championship Semi-Finals multiple times, including the U19 team in 2024 and 2023

Springs Soccer Club’s Zidaan Williams Selected for Antigua and Barbuda U-17 National Team

We are excited to announce Zidaan Williams, a standout player with our club, has been officially selected to join the Antigua and Barbuda U-17 National Team for the upcoming Concacaf U-17 Men's Qualifiers. The tournament, which will take place in Guatemala from February 7-16, 2025, is a key stepping stone to the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) formally requested Zidaan’s release for training throughout January 2025. During this period, Zidaan will formally train alongside his national teammates to develop cohesion, build relationships, and prepare for the challenges ahead in this prestigious tournament.

Springs Holiday Cup Recap

The Springs Holiday Cup once again proved why it’s one of the premier soccer events in the state! This year’s tournament was a tremendous success, drawing 326 teams from 62 clubs, including international teams from the Cayman Islands and Jamaica. Over the course of three exciting days and nights, fields across Broward were alive with energy, competition, and community.

The event kicked off with an opening ceremony attended by the Vice Mayor of Coral Springs, Nancy Metayer Bowen, showcasing the city’s commitment to supporting youth sports and fostering a vibrant community. The atmosphere was electric, with live music, delicious food, and vibrant vendor stands, creating a festival-like experience for players and spectators alike. Field to field, you could hear parents, family, friends, coaches, teammates cheering and celebrating. As always, we are honored to have the opportunity to host such an event.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the City of Coral Springs and the Parks and Recreation Department for their unwavering support and partnership in making this event possible. Their dedication to providing top-notch facilities and resources helped ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

Cameron Williams Selected for Prestigious ID2 Program

Springs Soccer Club is proud to announce that our very own Cameron Williams has been selected to participate in US Club Soccer’s ID2 National Identification and Development Program!

This prestigious event will take place in Charleston, SC, from December 13-15.

The ID2 Program is a unique opportunity that brings together some of the top youth soccer players from across the country. During the event, Cameron will have the chance to engage in high-level training sessions, showcase his talent in front of national scouts, and further develop his skills alongside other elite players. The program also serves as a pathway for potential inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Team programs, making this another incredible step forward in Cameron’s soccer journey.

This selection is a testament to Cameron’s hard work, dedication, and talent on the field. It also reflects the guidance provided by the coaches, the hard work shared with teammates, and supportive backing of his family. The Springs Soccer Club community is proud to see you continue to chase down your goals.

U17 Elite Boys Finish Second in U19 Division of Thanksgiving Classic

This past weekend, our U17 Elite Boys had a statement performance in the 37th Annual Plantation Thanksgiving Classic, competing two age divisions up in the U19 bracket. Against older and more experienced opponents, the squad rose to the occasion, proving they are more than capable of holding their own against top-level competition. After a series of intense matches, the team reached the finals, where they faced East Florida United. Despite their hard-fought efforts, the game ended in a 2-0 loss; our 2008 Boys ended their weekend with a notable second-place finish.

Reflecting on the tournament, Coach Pedro shared some insight into his team's preparation and performance:

“Most of the boys play high school soccer, where they’re already competing against older players. We focused on being defensively disciplined and working together as a unit. Playing older opponents meant facing a speed and size disadvantage, so effort was key. The boys had some doubts, but once the whistle blew, the way they played, you couldn’t tell which was the younger team.”

The team demonstrated incredible resilience throughout the weekend. Coach Pedro highlighted one such moment of resolve:

“I was really proud of how resilient they were in tough moments. In our first game, we went down a player due to a double yellow and conceded a penalty, but the mindset to block the penalty and then go on to score two goals was a key moment for us. I’m also very proud of how they played for each other and left it all on the field.”

This result underscores the team’s ability to rise above adversity and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Looking ahead, the 2008 Elite Boys have ambitious goals:

“We want to build off this performance and continue to work. We have the Springs Cup coming up, and we want to have a great showing in our age group against top competition. Then, we’ll focus on starting the new year strong at the ECNL RL Showcase in January.”

The Thanksgiving Classic marks a significant temperature check for the 2008 Elite Boys, as they continue to prepare for even greater challenges ahead. The table is set, their seat is open, and they're hungry for more competition this season. One of the most poignant elements of our crest is the set of angel wings framing the central palm tree. A New Chapter Begins in 2020

The year 2020 holds special significance in our club’s journey. It was the year Springs Soccer Club was officially recognized as the "Official Travel Soccer Club" in the City of Coral Springs. This milestone was a testament to the dedication of our players, coaches, and families, and it marked the beginning of a new era for the club—a time to grow, develop, and make a difference in the lives of young athletes across Coral Springs.

U14 Boys Phantom Triumph at Tampa Bay Super Cup

We are excited to share the success of Coach Camoy and the U14 Boys Phantom team, who made waves by winning it all at the Tampa Bay Super Cup! Facing tough competition, the boys showcased their cohesiveness, confidence, and skill to hit the Gulf Coast running and come home with the championship trophy.

When asked what led to the team’s success, Coach Camoy highlighted their competitive nature. “We are a very hard-working team, and we compete no matter the game situation or opponent,” he said. This drive was evident in every match as the team fought to the final whistle. Key performances came from several players throughout the tournament. Jackenson Pierre, Yonatan Mizrahi, and Ioni Alushani delivered consistently strong performances, contributing significantly to the team’s success. However, it was team captain Juan Montilla who provided a defining moment of brilliance in a must-win game that propelled the team to the final. “The magic of Juan Montilla,” as Coach Camoy put it, was critical in securing their championship run. Regardless of any one player's individual contributions, the victory was a true team effort. Their trust and confidence in each other allowed them to be greater than the sum of their parts.

The tournament also provided valuable insight into the team’s character. “We are resilient and will be a tough team to play against,” Coach Camoy shared. This resilience became a hallmark of their play as they overcame challenging moments with determination and teamwork. Looking ahead, the team has a clear goal for the season. “Our goal is to always be better than yesterday,” Coach Camoy said. With that mindset—and under Coach Camoy's motivated guidance—they aim to bring home more trophies and secure a spot in the playoffs by the season's end.

2011 Boys Dominate ECNL-R South As Season Nears Holiday Break

The 2011 Boys are on the top the table in ECNL-R play. Let's take a look at their success thus far.

In the ECNL-R South league, our 2011 Boys team has set the standard high with an undefeated streak across eight matches, sitting comfortably in first place. With their remarkable goal difference of +28, they’ve shown not only skill but also composure and cohesion on the field. Their attacking performance peaked in a standout victory over Florida West in September, where they put away 10 goals in a single game—a result that sets a tone for their current success and displays their capabilities. As we approach the mid-season break, we'd like to shine a spotlight on Coach Anthony and his squad accomplishments thus far.

From Last Season, to the Top

The team’s journey so far has been characterized by consistency and thoughtful play. Over the first eight matches, they’ve maintained a perfect record, standing tall against each opponent. This early success is the result of diligent preparation and the lessons learned from last season, when the boys reached the NPL playoffs in Denver after clinching the Florida zone. “It was a good experience and reference point to see where we are in this age group in the country,” recalls Coach Anthony. This experience has evidently fueled the boys to work harder this season, pushing each other to new heights. Where one might have found surprise in their accomplishments last season, now there is only expectation and confidence. They truly know what they are capable of an are putting it on display for the league to see.

Defensive and Offensive Strengths

With a solid backline and a powerful attack, the team has dominated both ends of the pitch. Their strong defense has been critical in building the goal difference, making it difficult for opponents to break through, only allowing 6 goals thus far. Meanwhile, their offensive firepower was fully on display in the 10-goal win over Florida West. This game was a testament to their skill and confidence, revealing a team ready to take on any challenge. Standout players Cameron Williams and Jahmar Wright have stepped up, contributing significantly to the attack, but together this roster has shown what a complete team is capable of. Each game has seen different players rise to the occasion, demonstrating the depth and versatility of this squad.

Among the season’s highlights, certain moments stand out for their sheer impact, but Coach Anthony believes the boys haven’t yet played their “game of the season,” suggesting there’s even more to look forward to. This belief in their potential has fueled the team’s shared drive to keep pushing. This success stems from that shared belief in one another; it's the team’s unity. The boys have gelled not only as teammates but as friends, creating a foundation of mutual support and commitment. Coach Anthony shares that this season has seen the boys grow in dedication and love for each other, fostering a team spirit that translates into resilience on the field. “They are more dedicated, committed, and [have] love for each other and the team,” he says. This unity reflects our club’s philosophy of player development, focusing on building individuals who succeed together. But even more so, it is testament to Coach Anthony's capabilities as a leader and mentor.

With upcoming matches on the horizon, including a November 17th showdown with Wellington, the team is gearing up to face new challenges. Maintaining their lead will require continued focus and discipline. Coach Anthony’s goal for the season is clear: “I want to win the league and finish in the top 5 teams in Florida." With their current form, the team is well on its way to achieving this. As the season progresses, our 2011 Boys ECNL-R team has already made an unforgettable impact. The road ahead promises exciting challenges, but with community support and a focused mindset, this team is primed for an exceptional season.

Double Victory! U9 and U13 Elite Girls Teams Bring Home Championships at Play for 8 Cup

We are very proud to announce that both our U9 Elite Girls and U13 Elite Girls teams captured championship titles at the Play for 8 Cup!

The U9 Elite Girls team brought home the silverware in an outstanding tournament performance. Competing against local competition in a 7v7 format, they delivered exceptional teamwork and individual brilliance to advance to the final, where they faced a rival in Parkland Soccer Club. In an intense, fast-paced match, our girls maintained their composure and played with passion, securing a 2-0 victory. Their defense was solid, responding to every challenge Parkland presented, while their control of the game showcased their growth and teamwork. They successfully secured not just the cup, but the clean sheet!

Coach Roxy shared her thoughts on the team’s performance: “The girls competed with heart and played together, keeping possession and defending everything Parkland threw at them. It was a high-paced, exciting game, and they had so much fun out there!”

Our U13 Girls also claimed the championship, beating a local club FC Prime in the final with a performance that displayed the same skill, determination, and sportsmanship they shown throughout the season. Their journey, like the U9 team’s, is a testament to the hard work of our players, the dedication of our coaches, and the support of our families. Their trophy will look great alongside the Lake Nona silverware they claimed earlier this season!

The Play for 8 Cup’s round-robin format emphasizes competition, and both teams rose to that call in each match, from the beginning to the end. Congratulations to our U9 Elite Girls and U13 Girls teams on these fantastic wins! Let's keep the momentum going!

"The Play for 8 Cup is established in honor of Alyssa Alhadeff, a 14-year-old soccer player with Parkland Soccer Club, who was one of 17 students and teachers who lost her life in the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018 (Valentine’s Day). Tournament proceeds will be donated to Make Our Schools Safe, a 501(c)3 national non-profit organization dedicated to protecting students and teachers at school. Founded by Alyssa’s parents, the mission is to empower students and staff to help create and maintain a culture of safety and vigilance in a secure school environment."

SPRINGS YOUTH MAKE WAVES ON THE NATIONAL STAGE

We are thrilled to announce that four of our standout players— Moises Goldner (2010), Sebastian Benitez (2010), Cameron Williams (2011), and Jahmar Wright (2011) —have been selected to participate in the prestigious U.S. Soccer Talent ID Center in Fort Lauderdale on September 25, 2024. This elite event brings together top talent from across the region to train under the guidance of U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers, serving as a crucial stepping stone toward Youth National Team call-ups.

We spoke with one of these players, Jahmar Wright, to get his perspective on this achievement. “To be invited to this event is a chance to gain experience and exposure in my favorite area of sport,” Jahmar shared.

The Talent ID Center creates a highly competitive and challenging environment, pushing players to showcase their skills, work ethic, and soccer IQ. Players, like Jahmar, compete to stand out among some of the most skilled soccer prospects in the state. With participants from many of Florida’s top clubs invited, we are proud to see our boys recognized not only for their talent but also for their effort and dedication.

This event represents more than just a chance to play; it’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded athletes who share a passion for soccer. “I’m excited to interact with other players with similar interests and passion,” Jahmar noted. Performing in front of national scouts is a monumental achievement that reflects the countless hours these athletes have devoted on and off the field.

Fort Lauderdale United Hosts Clinic for Springs Soccer Club Girls Academy Teams

Last week, Springs Soccer Club was thrilled to welcome professional players Sheyenne Allen, Nia Christopher, Makenna Gottschalk, and Coach Gabe from Fort Lauderdale United for a special clinic exclusively for our Girls Academy teams. The evening training session provided our young players with an incredible opportunity to learn directly from pros who have reached the next level in their soccer careers.

The clinic was structured with four dynamic stations, each designed to challenge and develop the girls’ skills in different aspects of the game. Players rotated through each station, focusing on technical drills, pressuring the ball, speed and agility, and finishing under pressure. With guidance from Sheyenne, Nia, Makenna, and Coach Gabe, the girls received personalized attention and feedback that made the training experience unforgettable.

After the session, our guests took time to talk with the players about what it takes to succeed in soccer beyond the youth level. They emphasized the importance of staying motivated and committed to their goals, listening to their coaches, and working hard on and off the field. One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when Coach Gabe asked the group, "Who wants to be a pro?" Without hesitation, every single hand shot up. It was a proud moment for the Springs coaches; it speaks to the ambition and big dreams of our players. Having a professional women’s club so close to home is truly something special. We hope our players continue to draw motivation and inspiration from that.

The night ended with an autograph line half the length of the pitch, full of players and their siblings excited to have the player sign their shirts, cleats, bags, etc.. Our players left the clinic energized, inspired, but most importantly, smiling. We’re grateful to Sheyenne Allen, Nia Christopher, Makenna Gottschalk, and Coach Gabe for putting their time and energy towards helping shape the future of girls' soccer at our club, and for giving our girls an experience that perhaps someday they’ll reminisce about in a post-match interview!

Springs Girls Shine in Preseason Tournaments

With the new season starting in August, our Girls' Junior and Senior Academy teams have already shown incredible promise and determination on the field. Over two weekends, our teams participated in two preseason tournaments—the Orlando City Lake Nona Tournament and the Davie Friendly Tournament—where they showcased their talents along with the results of their hard work in the off season.

During the Orlando City Lake Nona Tournament held on August 17-18, 2024, our girls came out strong, with remarkable performances that set the tone for the upcoming season. The 2013G Elite team emerged as Champions , displaying exceptional skill and consistently executing throughout the tournament. The 2019G Elite also had an impressive run, finishing as Finalists . Meanwhile, the 2015G Elite and 2018G Elite teams showcased their potential and competitive attitude, contributing to a successful weekend for the club. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come this year!

The following weekend, at the Davie Friendly Tournament on August 24-25, 2024, our teams continued to make a statement. The 2013G Elite team once again stood out, along with the 2013G Phantom , 2014G Elite , 2015G Elite , and 2016G Elite teams. Each team demonstrated growth, professionalism, and the relentless pursuit of excellence we know is fundamental to meeting the goals our players set for themselves. All together, these performances signal a very bright season ahead for all our players.

A huge congratulations to all the players, coaches, and families for these fantastic performances! Your hard work and dedication are evident on the field, and we are proud to see such a strong start to the season! Let’s keep this momentum going and continue to support each other as we strive for more success in the coming months.

This rebrand represents a new chapter in the story of our club, with exciting changes and initiatives based around your feedback, designed to enhance experiences and help us do a better job of supporting the community we are grateful to be a part of.

Bringing Color to the Field

Our new brand identity features a sporadic use of color, designed to emulate how we bring pops of vibrancy and energy to the field with our play style. Our implementation of our colors symbolizes the passion, creativity, and artistry of our players, coaches, and club. We build teams that light up the field with their skill and teamwork and our new visual identity aims to reflect that same brilliance and enthusiasm.

Introducing "Field Notes"

As part of our rebrand, we are launching a new club blog called "Field Notes." This platform is a hub for all things Springs Soccer Club. It provides a place to highlight player and team accomplishments, dive into club methodologies, stay updated on club news, peek behind-the-scenes at the inner workings of our club, and (my favorite) gives us a place to share the stories that make us unique.

Expanding Community Involvement

We are committed to growing our connection with the broader community. As part of our rebrand, we are expanding our community involvement initiatives. One exciting project on the horizon is a water initiative, which aims to promote health and hydration, clean water accessibility, and environmental sustainability and awareness. Stay tuned for more details on this program and others as we work together to make a positive difference off the field.

Enhancing Social Media Engagement

Our rebrand also includes a more responsive and engaging social media presence, emphasizing providing timely updates, interactive content, and engaging conversations across all our social media platforms. We want our players to really feel the presence of the professional environment they are a part of, and give our families opportunities to see their players and team featured across our media platforms. As such we are focusing on parity in exposure upping the effort we put into highlighting achievements.

YouTube Home Academy Series

In line with our commitment to player development, we are launching a YouTube Home Academy series of tutorials. These videos will feature training exercises, tips, and techniques that players can practice at home. Whether you're looking to improve your skills or stay in shape during the off-season, our Home Academy series will provide valuable resources for players of all levels. We hope this will provide access to people that lack access to our programs, whether due to time commitments, financial difficulties, or geographical reasons.

Leveraging PlayMetrics Platform

To streamline our operations and enhance communication, we are now fully utilizing the PlayMetrics platform. This comprehensive tool will allow us to manage schedules, track player progress, and facilitate communication between coaches, players, and parents. By leveraging PlayMetrics, we aim to provide a seamless and efficient experience for everyone involved with Springs Soccer Club.

Community-Driven Internal Strategy

Our rebrand is deeply influenced by feedback from our community. We have conducted internal strategizing and organization based on input from players, parents, and supporters, and used this information to rework, not just how we present information, but the information itself. We have worked to shore up and formalize our internal practices in an effort to better serve you. Our continued and never-ending refinement reflects our commitment to listening to our community and continuously improving to meet their needs and expectations.

Our rebrand is not just a change in appearance, but a renewed commitment to development, community, and professionalism. Springs Senior Boys Academy Qualify For ECNL Regional League

Springs Soccer Club is on a mission to develop people, improve processes, and optimize the player development environment in their community. With a focus on long-term player development, they have been a valued participant in the Florida Club Leagues for several seasons. Success in their first year in the Boys National Premier League has garnered them the opportunity to advance to the Boys ECNL Regional League.

“Springs Soccer Club is honored to have been promoted to ECNL-RL, the nation’s top youth soccer development platform, for the 2024-2025 season. We were hopeful, optimistic, and confident that we could achieve this promotion this season and to finally hear the news was super exhilarating for me and my staff. We are so happy that our teams will now have the opportunity to compete in the nation’s top league and join the ECNL family. We know and value the importance of providing our top players and top teams the right challenges and the right opportunities to help them fulfill their potential and now they get a chance do that at the ECNL Regional level," said Roger Thomas, Director of Coaching and Methodology.

The promotion opens doors for greater scouting opportunities.
